4 Natural Ways To Boost Your Energy
624 Ways To Naturally Boost Your Energy
We all want to boost are energy levels. We watch children run around all day and never tire out. We don't want to drink all sorts of energy drinks with all the sugars and thing the company adds to it. So I did tons of research and testing throughout the past three weeks. I will list all I tried and the out come but remember your body might react better to things mine didn't.
Power Napping. Now I know not everyone can do this because of there schedules. If you work at home or have an extra half a hour before the kids get home after work take a power nap. Anywhere between 11am to 3pm is the best time to take a power nap. Now a power nap is about 20 to 40 minutes long, depending on your schedule. This re-energizes you. You feel so refreshed and energized when you wake up. This works for me 100%, but doesn't really fit my day so I only do this once in a blue.
Fake The Energy. Boy I was skeptical about this one. Before I say about what I did let me tell you this. There was a scientific research group that had 100 people. They gave them a drink, told them that it was a high volume energy drink, and to drink it as fast as the could, little did they know it was just carbonated sugar free flavored water. After about 2 hours they did a survey, 91 of the people said they have a high burst of energy, 89 of the people said they felt very energized in general, and only 9 of the people said it had no effect! So how is this? Those people truly thought they were drinking an energy drink, there brain responded because of there thinking. Okay back to the fake energy. I turned on some music, either in my Ipod, computer, or stereo, and I started to clean. I got in such a good mood and felt energized, but then I thought what if it was just the music.... So the next day I started to feel sluggish, so I got up and just started to fake being hyper and ecstatic for no reason. Within 5 to 10 minutes of this I truly, without realizing it until later, got energy. This works for me about 95% of the time.
Eat Breakfast. Whether your trying to lose weight or trying to get energy, you need to eat a good breakfast. No it doesn't have to be a lot. How about a glass of OJ, a piece of rye toast, and an egg. That right there will number one jump start your metabolism and number two, give you nutrients that your body will use for fuel for that energy you need.
Timing/Sleeping. Try to get up at or around the same time. This will help your body learn when to get up and start your body for the day. Also try to go to bed within the same time every night, your body will learn the time to wind down. I read it is best to go to sleep within 3-5 hours of the sun going down, that's in the fall and winter. In the spring and summer you should go to sleep within 2-4 hours of the sun going down. So it is about the same time. That means your body also realizes when you need your energy. Goodness did I get the run around to how much sleep adults need, so finally I got to the National Sleep Foundation and adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night, no more and more less.
